Products & Clinical Advice

Who is Aesthetics Experts for?

Aesthetics Experts is exclusively for medical professionals: doctors, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, nurse practitioners, and beauticians with demonstrable authorization to perform injectable treatments. All products are CE Class III medical devices, not intended for private use. Upon registration, we request proof of qualification (BIG registration, Chamber of Commerce registration, or equivalent).

Are all products CE certified and original?

Yes. We exclusively supply original, CE Class III certified medical devices, sourced from recognized manufacturers and official EU distributors. Each product comes with its original packaging, lot number, expiry date, and UDI code in accordance with European MDR regulations. Always keep the lot number of used products for traceability in case of any notifications.

How do I choose the right filler or skin booster for my treatment?

The correct product choice depends on the indication, injection depth, and desired clinical effect. As a general guideline:

  • Fine superficial wrinkles and delicate areas — light filler: Revolax Fine, Belotero Soft, Myfill Soft, Stylage S
  • Moderate wrinkles and nasolabial folds — medium filler: Revolax Deep, Stylage M, Belotero Balance, Saypha Filler
  • Deeper wrinkles and slight volume correction — heavy filler: Stylage L, Revolax Sub-Q, Belotero Intense
  • Volume correction and contour definition (cheeks, jawline, chin) — volume filler: Stylage XL/XXL, Belotero Volume, Saypha Volume Plus, Radiesse

What is the difference between cross-linked and non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid?

Cross-linked HA is chemically stabilized and used in dermal fillers for volume correction and wrinkle treatment. The effect lasts from 6 to 18 months, depending on the degree of cross-linking, the injection zone, and the patient's metabolism.

Non-cross-linked HA is more biologically active and mobile, is broken down faster (2–4 months) and is used in skin boosters for deep skin hydration and revitalization.

Products like Profhilo H+L combine high- and low-molecular weight HA for a unique bioremodeling effect: hydration of the dermis and stimulation of type I, III, and IV collagen production, without the typical filler volume.

What is the difference between polynucleotides (PN/PDRN) and hyaluronic acid?

Polynucleotides (PN) and polydeoxyribonucleic acid (PDRN) are DNA fragments derived from salmon or trout sperm. They stimulate fibroblasts, promote cell regeneration, and improve skin quality at a cellular level — without providing direct volume. Products such as Nucleofill, Plinest, Plenhyage XL, and Rejuran S fall into this category. They are used as biostimulators, as a supplement or alternative to HA skin boosters, and are particularly effective for skin aging, thin skin, and restoring skin quality.

How can I place an order?

Ordering is easy via www.aestheticsexperts.nl. Create an account, log in, and add the desired products to your shopping cart. Then choose your payment method and shipping option. For the first order, we ask for proof of your professional qualification.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We work with Mollie as our payment provider. You can pay securely via:

  • iDEAL
  • Bancontact
  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard)
  • SEPA bank transfer

For regular customers, additional payment arrangements (payment by invoice) are negotiable. Please contact our customer service for this.

Will I receive an invoice with VAT?

Yes. All orders are automatically provided with a VAT invoice, which you will receive by email and can download via your account. EU companies with a valid VAT number can order intracommunally (VAT-free) — see also the question about international orders.

Shipping & Delivery

What is the delivery time for my order?

Orders placed and paid before 4:00 PM on a business day will be shipped the same day. Delivery within the Netherlands and Belgium usually takes 1 business day.

What are the shipping costs?

Within the Netherlands and Belgium, shipping is free for orders over €300. For smaller orders, standard shipping costs are €9.99 (excl. VAT). DHL Express is available for urgent shipments — please contact our customer service for this.

Which carrier do you ship with?

We ship with PostNL and DHL Express, depending on the location, urgency, and order size. All shipments are provided with Track & Trace.

Can I pick up my order?

Professional Use & Regulation

Are your products intended only for professionals?

Yes. All products on our webshop are exclusively for professional use by authorized medical personnel: doctors, nurse practitioners, cosmetic specialists with BIG registration or equivalent demonstrable qualification. Delivery to private individuals without a medical indication is not possible.

Can I buy or inject fillers if I am not a doctor?

Ordering fillers via Aesthetics Experts is only possible for professional use. Injecting dermal fillers is a reserved action under the BIG Act and may only be performed in the Netherlands by authorized healthcare professionals (doctors, dentists, nurse practitioners) or by non-BIG-registered healthcare professionals under the direct supervision of a doctor. Beauticians may, in specific cases, with the correct additional training and a cooperation agreement with a doctor, perform certain aesthetic treatments. In case of doubt, consult the IGJ guidelines.

How do I know what training or certification is required for a specific product?

As a general guideline: the deeper the injection and the more complex the anatomy of the treatment area, the higher the required qualification. Subcutaneous and periosteal injections (volume fillers, Radiesse, tear trough treatment) typically require medical training and specific hands-on training. Intradermal skin boosters and mesotherapy can, under certain conditions, also be administered by trained paramedics. Consult your professional association for the applicable guidelines in your country.

Returns & Complaints

Can I return my order?

Returns are only possible for unopened, unrefrigerated, and undamaged products in their original seal, within 14 days of receipt. Injectable products and refrigerated products are excluded from return for safety and hygiene reasons.

My product arrived damaged — what now?

Immediately take photos of the product and packaging and send them within 24 hours to info@aestheticsexperts.nl stating your order number and the product's lot number. We will provide a suitable solution (replacement or refund) and handle it in accordance with MDR regulations.

I forgot my password — what now?

Click on "Forgot password?" on the login screen. You will immediately receive an email to set a new password.

How do I contact customer service?

International Orders

Do you also deliver outside the Netherlands and Belgium?

Yes, we deliver throughout Europe. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by country. Please contact our customer service for exact rates and delivery options for your location.

Can I, as a foreign doctor, order VAT-free?

Yes. EU companies outside the Netherlands with a valid EU VAT number can order intracommunally (VAT-free). Please contact our customer service for this so that your account can be set up correctly.

Safety & Reliability

How do I know I am buying from a reliable supplier?

Aesthetics Experts is a registered Dutch wholesaler specializing in CE Class III certified aesthetic medical devices. We work exclusively with official manufacturers and authorized EU distributors. All products are provided with a lot number, UDI code, and expiry date in accordance with European MDR regulations. Full traceability and correct VAT invoicing are standard with every order.

What do I do if I want to report a side effect or incident?

Serious side effects or incidents with CE Class III medical devices must be reported to the Health and Youth Care Inspectorate (IGJ) in the Netherlands, or to the relevant authority in your country. Please also send us a notification via info@aestheticsexperts.nl with the lot number and product description, so that we can register this and, if necessary, forward it to the manufacturer.
