Radiesse® is a new generation of wrinkle-filling facial treatments that combines a volumetric effect with strong stimulation of lost collagen regeneration. The unique composition of Radiesse® immediately improves facial features, comparable to other fillers. The product is made of calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) particles suspended in a gel matrix, creating a kind of support structure in areas requiring volumetrics. On this support structure, fibroblasts, stimulated by hydroxyapatite, produce new collagen, which means that the effects of skin thickening, wrinkle smoothing and facial feature filling continue even after the gel matrix that forms the preparation has been completely absorbed after fulfilling its role. The newly produced collagen remains in that place.
